TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The present document defines the terms and conditions (hereinafter, “Terms and Conditions”) that govern access to and use of the website (hereinafter, the “Website”) owned by VILLADORIA SRL (hereinafter, the “Winery” or the “Seller”), as well as the sale of wine products and winery visit services (hereinafter, the “Products” and/or “Services”) through the aforementioned Website. Users/customers (hereinafter, the “Customer” or the “Buyer”) are invited to carefully read these Terms and Conditions before making a purchase.
  1. PURPOSE
These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of wines, other wine products, and guided winery tours offered by the Winery through the Website. The offer is addressed exclusively to Consumers and/or end Users who are of legal age (18 years) in accordance with current regulations.
  1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By placing an order on the Website, the Customer declares to have read these Terms and Conditions, to fully accept them, and to be at least 18 years old. Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions is a necessary condition to proceed with the purchase; without such acceptance, the purchase cannot be completed.
  1. REGISTRATION AND ACCOUNT
  1. To make purchases, the Customer may be required to create a personal account on the Website by entering accurate and complete information.
  2. The Customer agrees to keep their login credentials confidential and will be responsible for all activities carried out through their account.
  3. The Seller reserves the right to suspend or close the Customer’s account in case of suspicious, fraudulent, or unlawful use or in violation of these Terms and Conditions.
  1. PRODUCT AND SERVICE FEATURES
  1. Wines and other wine products
The information and images on the Website are intended to describe the products as accurately as possible. Any slight differences in the graphic presentation (e.g., vintage or label variations) do not constitute a lack of conformity.
  1. Winery visits
The Winery offers guided tours, tastings, and other wine tourism events. The methods, times, prices, and availability of visits are listed on the Website and may be subject to change due to organizational needs, weather conditions, or other force majeure events.
  1. PURCHASE PROCEDURE
  1. Order process
The Customer selects the desired Products and/or Services and completes the purchase by following the guided process on the Website. Before submitting the order, the Customer must verify the accuracy of the entered information and the order summary.
  1. Order confirmation
Receipt of the order will be confirmed by the Seller via email to the address provided by the Customer. This email only confirms receipt of the order and does not constitute final acceptance, which occurs upon payment and subsequent shipment/service confirmation.
  1. Product/Service availability
If a Product or visit date is no longer available due to stock depletion, scheduling changes, or other reasons, the Winery will promptly inform the Customer and proceed with a refund of any amounts paid or agree on an alternative solution.
  1. PRICES AND PAYMENTS
  1. Prices
All prices shown on the Website are in Euros (€) and, unless otherwise indicated, include VAT. Prices may change at any time, but such changes will not affect already confirmed orders.
  1. Shipping costs
Shipping costs, if applicable, are calculated at checkout and may vary depending on destination, quantity, and weight of the purchased Products.
  1. Payment methods
The Customer may pay using the methods indicated on the Website (credit card, PayPal, bank transfer, or other available methods). In any case, the Seller will not access the Customer’s sensitive financial data (e.g., card information), which is handled exclusively by the selected payment system.
  1. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
  1. Delivery times
Delivery times vary based on the destination and are approximate. The Winery is not liable for delays due to force majeure or unforeseen circumstances (e.g., strikes, roadblocks, severe weather).
  1. Delivery inspection obligations
Upon delivery, the Customer must check that the packaging is not damaged or tampered with. Any damage must be immediately reported to the courier and to the Winery.
  1. Shipping locations and restrictions
The Winery ships its Products within Italy and, where indicated, abroad, provided that transport and distribution of alcoholic beverages are permitted by local laws. The Customer is responsible for complying with local alcohol import regulations.
  1. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
  1. Product withdrawal
Pursuant to Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code), a Customer acting as a consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 (fourteen) days from the delivery date of the Products, without the obligation to provide reasons. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Customer must notify the Winery by email or registered letter, providing the order details.
    • The Products must be returned intact, in their original packaging, and with all accessories.
    • Return shipping costs are borne by the Customer, unless otherwise indicated by the Seller.
    • Within 14 (fourteen) days of receiving the withdrawal notice and after verifying the integrity of the returned Products, the Winery will refund the amounts paid, including any initial shipping costs (excluding extra charges for delivery methods other than the least expensive offered).
  1. Service withdrawal (winery visits)
For purchases of guided tours or tastings (services), the Customer may withdraw according to the instructions provided at booking or, if not specified, within 14 (fourteen) days from the purchase date, provided that the visit has not yet taken place or is not scheduled within that period.
    • Any cancellation penalties will be specified at the time of booking.
    • If the visit is scheduled within 14 days from the purchase date and the Customer withdraws shortly before, the Winery may withhold a fee or deny the withdrawal, in accordance with current laws and booking conditions.
  1. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
  1. The Winery is not liable for direct or indirect damages resulting from improper use of the Products, including damages from excessive alcohol consumption.
  2. If the Seller suspends or changes the provision of certain Services (e.g., winery visits, tastings) for safety reasons, reorganization, or force majeure, the Customer is only entitled to a refund of the paid amounts for unused Services, with no additional compensation.
  3. In case of delivery-related disputes, the Winery will assist the Customer with the courier, but is not liable for delays or issues beyond its control.
  1. OBLIGATIONS REGARDING ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION AND SALE
  1. The Customer purchasing wine or alcohol on the Website declares and guarantees to be at least 18 years old and not buying on behalf of minors.
  2. The Winery reserves the right to reject an order or request additional information if it suspects the purchase is made by or intended for minors under 18.
  1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
  1. All content available on the Website (texts, images, logos, trademarks, graphics, etc.) is owned by the Winery or respective rights holders and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
  2. It is forbidden to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or otherwise use any Website content for commercial or non-commercial purposes without written authorization from the Winery or respective rights holders.
  1. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
  1. The Customer’s personal data are processed by the Winery in compliance with applicable data protection laws (EU Regulation 2016/679 – GDPR and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended).
  2. For more information, the Customer is invited to consult the Privacy Policy available on the Website.
  1. CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The Winery reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time by publishing the updated version on the Website. Such changes will only apply to orders placed after the date of publication.
  1. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
  1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by Italian law.
  2. For any dispute concerning the interpretation, validity and/or execution of these Terms and Conditions and/or sales contracts concluded under them, the competent court is that of the Customer’s residence or domicile, if in Italy. In all other cases, the exclusive competent court is the Court of Asti.
  1. SEVERABILITY CLAUSE
If one or more provisions of these Terms and Conditions are deemed invalid, illegal or unenforceable, this will not affect the validity, legality or enforceability of the remaining provisions, which will remain in full force and effect.

Cancellation Policy – Villadoria Tastings

Bookings

Reservations are considered confirmed only upon receipt of written confirmation from Cantina Villadoria.

Cancellations by the client

a) Cancellations up to 48 hours before the scheduled time: No penalty. The full amount paid will be refunded.

b) Cancellations 48 to 24 hours before the scheduled time: 50% of the total amount will be retained.

c) Cancellation within 24 hours or no-show. The full amount of the booked tasting will be charged. No refund will be given.

Changes to the booking

Requests to change the time or number of participants will be accepted subject to availability. If the number of participants is reduced less than 24 hours in advance, the amount for the number originally booked will still be charged.

Cancellations by the winery

Should Villadoria be unable to carry out the tasting for reasons beyond its control (e.g. adverse weather conditions, extraordinary events or production requirements), the customer may

choose a new date at no additional cost, or
request a full refund of any sum paid.

Force majeure

In the event of exceptional events or restrictions preventing the activity from taking place, Villadoria will offer a voucher of equal value, valid for a new tasting within 12 months.
